Trojan Man. I'd love to get more detail on this and see if there's actually something different about the QB AI. It looks stellar in the EA Access version. Is the patch live for access? Game file is at 47GB, so not sure if it updated itself?
I thought it was only PC till Tuesday? Jackson and Hurst after update, does this look different or the same? Please be frank. I'm all for giving EA credit where they deserve it and criticism where they deserve it. I'm loving EA Access, but I will not buy the release version if they broke something in this patch that has to get fixed.
That always takes several, several weeks, and the fixes are never in the favor of the sim crowd until the very end of the cycle. My PC version just updated this morning and now the game wont start.
It seems like its trying to start then Origin just pops back up and game never launches Nothing working so far guess I will try and reinstall the whole game. Do you have anything specifically that got worse since the beta, or just expressing concern over the update notes?
Update is now live for Access users if anyone was still wondering or atleast it had me update. Then I checked Lamar and Hurst. Yeah, maybe he meant PC because I had nothing prompt me last night until this morning. I never got a prompt and mine is updated. I think you are really missing out. Despite that statement being true about the H2H crowd.. The gameplay is very solid and actually feels more like football than anything in quite some time.
All gameplay was updated last Friday. Ea access has been using the updates for gameplay. I saw a pic of him before the update though and thought his looked pretty good. Anyone with the update want to take a pic of his updated face scan?

It is exactly what i thought it would be from the beginning. Different tuners. They are not making three different games with different code. They are making one game with 3 different tuner sets for the limited things that can be tuned. That one game is being made for competitive mode. We have been playing with the gameplay updates for the entire EA access according to Clint.
Version 1. This update is version 1. My PC version updated but now it will no longer launch after that update. Origin will minimize then after a few seconds pop back up and the game never starts, it worked fine for 2 days so now I'm pretty pissed was looking forward to playing this morning when I got up and instead I spent 2.
All my other Origin games still work fine including some other Frostbite engine ones. Right click and try running as Administrator. Turn any antivirus off too. So you knew that defensive pass interference would be removed due to the competitive mode in 18? In the beginning they never stated that certain animations would have to be removed for all modes across the board.
They basically never mentioned it until people started blowing the whistle in sim mode. I understand the tweaking under the hood aspect, but with the patches everyone gets them. Its not like the patches come out for the separate modes which I thought in the beginning was the intent.
I dont want to get the thread off topic, so I'll move on. I tried to uninstall the game and reinstall, tried to uninstall Origin and reinstall. Tried to run both Origin and game as Administrator, all of this with my AV disabled as well. So far nothing is working, pretty frustrated. I had this issue with another Origin game once and running Origin as admin allowed it to start. Later they patched that game and it worked normally but nothing is working for me on Madden at the moment.
Are we getting anywhere on fixing the commentary names for custom draft class players with names already in the audio database? Also, is this one of those "Day Zero" updates that actually comes out on "Day 11" like Madden '18, or at they not putting a date on this one to avoid that issue?

When they r turned off it still displays the type of pass. Very annoying they did not see this.
I double checked and I've been playing 1. QB AI is better than fine, to my eyes. On Xbox One, with the emergency crashing patch, which version of the game does this bring everyone to?

The snap issue was getting reeeeeeeeeeal annoying. Had to quit my game last night due to this bug, was not fixed on pc.
Sorry to hear issue not fixed for PC. As previously posted, the only workaround I've found is to identify the player who slides into place, but does not set. From there, highlight him and press him up.
